Cold Plunge
How is a cold plunge pleasurable? We could tell you about hormesis or the endorphin rush, or the fun of doing something intense with friends, but that sounds like a waste of time when you could just show up and see what happens!
What to bring:
A towel (a big one — or two)
Warm layers to throw on immediately after (hoodie, sweatpants, hat — your body temp drops after you get out, not in the water)
Swimsuit or whatever you're plunging in, worn under your clothes so you don't need to change
Water shoes or sandals if you've got them — the entry can be rocky
Optional: a warm drink in a thermos for after
If you want to come, you will be required to sign our waiver at the beach cause we live in a sue happy country and this event is open to the public.

This cold plunge will take place at Brackett’s Landing
Come with your own safety in mind. No one is responsible for your safety but you.
Guidelines:
We ask that you read our beliefs page before coming to get a general idea of how we operate.
We also have some more event specific guidelines that aren’t covered there:
This event is 18+ and human only. Kids and dogs change the vibe.
Be mindful of the people around you and the fact that we are all sensitive to different things. This doesn’t mean you should tiptoe around all of your interactions, but does mean that you should always act and connect with intention and care.
We are looking to create an environment that is loving and supportive for all folks. We do not tolerate violent and oppressive words or actions (don’t act whack).
We ask that you keep your phone on silent and put away for the duration of the event.
We ask that you show up on time and stay for the duration of the plunge, as coming and going will disrupt the container we are attempting to create.
Please come well fed. Perhaps bring a bar or banana or some other easy to carry snack that starts with the letter “b”. ;)
Once again, please bring water. Nothing works well (especially not swimming) when you are thirsty.
Accessibility:
You will need to be able to walk over rocks and swim in frigid ass water.
This event will happen rain or shine.
Please bring water.
